Celebrating the 40 Year Anniversary of their hit single: Play at Your Own Risk. Released 1982 on Tommy Boy Records, Tom Silverman. Produced by Arthur Baker and John Robie. This song introduced Electo-Funk to the mainstream and helped create the genre known as Freestyle Music.

Before They Became Planet Patrol.
Before the Planet Patrol era, The Energetics, from Boston, Mass, were the premier five-man vocal group (before New Edition and New Kids on the Block). They recorded their well-received album: "Come Down to Earth" on Atlantic Records produced by the legendary producer/songwriting team Brian and Eddie Holland. Their years of touring, professionalism, vocal stylings (reminiscent of The Temptations), stage presence and persona contributed to their smooth transition into the Plane
